WeekSpend
Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the WeekSpend iOS app and its widget extension.
English
1. Overview
WeekSpend is a personal budgeting app for tracking flexible day-to-day spending. WeekSpend does not require account registration. By default, your data stays on your device. If you unlock Pro and use iCloud sync, eligible app data may also sync through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services associated with your Apple Account.
2. Data We Process
2.1 Spending and budget data you enter
WeekSpend may store the information you create inside the app, including:
- Expense amounts, dates, and selected categories
- Weekly budget amount and week start preferences
- Pending budget or week-start changes that have not taken effect yet
- Custom category names, icons, and sort order
2.2 App preferences and status data
WeekSpend may store app settings that support the product experience, including:
- Language, theme, and currency preferences
- Onboarding completion status
- Last used category and last successful cloud sync timestamp
- Whether Pro access is currently available on this device
2.3 Purchase and entitlement data
If you purchase or restore WeekSpend Pro, Apple processes the payment and billing information. WeekSpend receives only the StoreKit purchase or entitlement result needed to unlock paid features. We do not receive your full payment card or billing details.
2.4 Widget snapshot data
To render the WeekSpend widget, the app stores a local shared snapshot containing summary values such as safe-to-spend amount, weekly remaining, spent this week, daily average, generated time, selected currency, selected language, onboarding status, and Pro status.
3. How We Use Data
- To save your spending records, budget settings, and category setup
- To calculate safe-to-spend and weekly remaining values
- To show the widget and keep it in sync with the app
- To restore purchases and determine access to Pro features
- To support optional iCloud sync through Apple services when available and enabled
4. Storage and iCloud Sync
WeekSpend uses on-device storage by default. If Pro is not unlocked, or if iCloud is unavailable, your app data remains local to your device.
If you unlock Pro and use iCloud sync, eligible app data may be transmitted to and stored within Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services so your data can sync across your Apple devices. Apple operates those cloud services under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
5. Sharing and Tracking
[Developer Name] does not sell your personal data. WeekSpend does not include third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking technology.
Data may be processed by Apple as needed to provide App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, CloudKit, and WidgetKit functionality.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored locally remains on your device until you edit or delete it, remove the app, or clear it through your own device and iCloud management actions. If you use iCloud sync, copies of eligible data may remain in your iCloud account until removed through Apple's storage behavior and your deletion actions.
Because WeekSpend does not maintain a separate user account system or developer-hosted customer database, [Developer Name] may not have the ability to access or directly delete your app data on your behalf.
7. Children's Privacy
WeekSpend is not directed to children under 13, and [Developer Name] does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
